Four Years and Going Strong

Year after year, our boots continue to prove that they are capable of riding long, hard distances. We firmly believe that hoof boots and the barefoot lifestyle are a fantastic alternative to nailing metal shoes to our horses' hooves. We've consistently shown the equine world that just about anything you want to do with your horse can be done with a properly fitted Easycare hoof boot.

The $10,000 Hoof Boot Contest is our way of putting our money where our mouth is. Each year we offer $10,000 in cash prizes to riders who use our boots to compete in AERC sanctioned endurance rides. Endurance riding is an extreme sport and one of the tougest challenges to our hoof boots. We feel that if they can stand up the abuse of 25, 50 and 100 mile rides over rough terrain and in all kinds of weather, Easyboots can handle anything a horse and rider can throw at them.

2010 marks the 4th year for the EasyCare $10,000 hoof boot contest, and it is shaping up to be the biggest year yet. Each of the past years the total number of miles has increased dramatically, with over 21,000 total miles logged in the contest in 2009. This year we are introducing a new incentive to the contest that will not only help to build momentum and shatter past years' numbers, but more importantly give back to AERC and the sport of endurance riding.

New for 2010: Announcing the EasyCare Gives Back to AERC Campaign

AERC and EasyCare Inc. have launched a unique sponsorship program designed to generate vital new revenue to offset the current erosion in AERC membership fees. 

In order for AERC members to help by giving back to AERC, riders must be enrolled in EasyCare’s 2010 Hoof Boot contest. Once enrolled, riders simply follow the rules as defined in the contest information form. There is no fee to riders or to AERC to enter the contest and all regular cash awards will continue to be made to qualifying registered riders. That means AERC and riders all stand to gain from participation in the contest. It really is a win-win situation for riders, AERC and the sport we love.
