“I just wanted to write to you and tell you how successful and happy I have been by using the Bares and Epics.

I have been trail riding my horses (morgans!) barefoot for the past 5 years with no trouble. This past winter I decided that I wanted to give CTR and Endurance a try, so started to condition my two horses. Unfortunately between all of the conditioning miles, as well as the ride miles I was seeing excessive wear on the feet. Being afraid that the growth would not keep up with wear, I decided to start using the boots.

I applied them as per your 'Blog' and have had NO trouble at all! No rubbing, and certainly the boots have stayed put! I have used them every other training ride. (don't want to diminish those tough feet!) and I used them on a recent ride that I went on. We did a 25 mile LD. The first loop was fast - �a lot of packed dirt and gravel road riding, so we were able to really fly. The boots stayed on at speed.

Now, on the second loop, we encountered A LOT of mud, mud, mud. I was
nervous that the Bares would be sucked off... but they weren't! And
neither were the Epics!

Due to my barefoot success I have two friends who are now trying barefoot and have bought the Epics for use when the conditions are rocky or concussive. They too have been very pleased with the results! One friend rode up in the Allegheny National Forest in North Central PA after all of the rain/flooding. They had horrendously muddy conditions and the boots stayed put! Now a friend of hers is considering going barefoot and using boots on a horse that she has that foundered, and is now in 'special' shoes! One person's success can be an eye opener for others, and encourage them to try something new.

My barefoot journey started when I was unable to find and keep a good
farrier. With the improvement of hoof boots it gives people an option -
to shoe, or to keep their horses barefoot and boot only when necessary.
