"We used the Bares all summer long on our weekly treks up to the Desolation Wilderness. These particular photos were taken on a ride from Loon Lake to Echo Lake, 32 miles top to bottom through the Wilderness.

The Bares provided extraordinary protection for my horse's hooves, heel bulbs, and pasterns against the rubble stones that cover the trails in the Wilderness. The slick granite sheets were not a worry to cross with the traction provided by the naturally designed sole on the Bares.
