“I am a novice long distance rider and had entered my Appendix Quarter Horse mare in a 50 mile race in Maple Ridge, B.C. It had poured rain the night before the ride and parts of the trail were quite muddy. At the 35-mile mark my horse stumbled and pulled off a front shoe.
I had just bought my first pair of Easyboots, and had them with me, all new and untried. I jumped off and put an Easyboot on her. (It took longer to untie the boot from the saddle than it did to get it on my horse and in that time I was passed by five competitors.) I went on to pass all 5 of those riders and watched in growing admiration, as that boot stayed on my horse in spite of 4 river crossings and about 9 miles of very rough trail that included many sections of sucking mud!
We finished that ride in Top Ten and went on to win the High Vet award. If I had not had that Easyboot with me or if it had come loose on the trail, I would not have finished the race, let alone placed well. This is the first time I have ever endorsed a product of any kind and I would like to thank your company for an awesome ride!”
