In truth, I did not have occasion to use them until recently, as I was a little tired of putting on boots (after using EasyBoots for years and years). So I tried a plastic shoe on my driving horses this year. Try as I may, I just cannot get comfortable with nail-on shoes after all these years of barefoot horses. So I struggled the new gaiters onto the boots and did a couple of modifications as suggested by a barefoot practitioner, and have found that everything is working just great. What prompted me to write was the receipt of my latest order of Epics. Wow, you guys are getting this boot thing nailed, no doubt! I noticed the screws you use now to attach the front clip. Having tried to put cables on with a home pop-riveter, this is a major improvement. The cotter pins keep my over-reacher from popping the clips open. The cables don't have to be clamped down so tight anymore.
So, along with the thank you, I would like to say congratulations. You are obviously not sitting on your success - the boots are becoming more horse and user conscious all the time. I would say "friendly", but they still take a bit of technique to put on and take off! :o)
Thank you for your innovations. I have only taken side trips into other hoof protection systems over the last couple of decades. I always come back to the EasyBoots. And my old friend is looking better and better all the time. Wish I could say the same for myself! :o)"
