“I have an 11 year old off track Thoroughbred. He is my first horse and I got a real project, when I rescued him (or did he rescue me?).
Right off the bat, we had the usual thin hoof wall issues, long toes, contracted heels, abcesses and other horrible things these poor horses suffer through to make thier owners rich. I had person after person tell me I should put this horse down, put him out to pasture, get rid of him, he can't even walk... We went through 2 years of lameness and vertical cracks, chipped walls, lost soles, stone bruises, bad shoeing jobs from farriers that insisted 'your horse needs shoes for relief from his own hooves'.
Finally, last week, I found a barefoot trimmer that knew what he was doing. He came over, did a basic initial trim, and tossed on some EasyCare Epic boots. My horse went from dead lame 20 minutes ago, to being able to walk on the streets, dirt trails and rocks, without pain. All of that, within 15 minutes of the farrier finishing! I am broke :) so the farrier is letting me borrow the boots, but I cannot tell you HOW great these boots are.
The farrier is quite sure, that with EasyBoots of my own, I will be able to FINALLY ride my baby without pain for him. ON THE TRAILS. I never thougth we would be able to do that. I am very excited and saving up my money as we speak. Thanks for giving me back the horse I always knew was there!!! I wish I could send you a picture of the look of complete relief on my horse's face! Thanks AGAIN!!"
