I just wanted to share my experience with the Epics. All my horses (gaited) are barefoot and have needed the boots at one time or another. I have tried other boots and promptly resold them on ebay! I LOVE the Epics. They have proven their worth time and time again. On one occasion, we rode about 15 miles one day and, unfortunately, lost a rider and 2 horses. We made it back to camp and my mare was still fresh enough to head back out to look for the missing rider. She went the whole ride again and still came back to camp sound and in shape. She did a total of 30 miles in one day and the boots never needed any adjustments. That spoke volumes for me on the Epic's worth.

 

We ride mostly in the Great Smoky Mtn. Nat'l Park and surrounding Nat'l and State Forest. The trails are steep, rocky, red clay, and seem endless. These boots have held up beyond my expectations! I get about 2 years out of each pair of Epics. When we transition a new horse, the boots get used every weekend. These boots have worked for every terrain we have encountered.

 

I couldn't be happier with these Epics and I make sure that everyone knows it!
