"I enjoyed the 2006 July issue of Horse Illustrated immensely! The reason was due to the column on hoof boots. I am a believer in hoof boots.
I struggled and struggled with making my 21 yr. old gelding (Biscuit) comfortable after he foundered on spring grass several years ago. His x-rays revealed that he had rotated 4 degrees in the left hoof and 5 degrees in the other. I went through numerous farriers, all could not make him comfortable in conventional steel, or aluminums shoes. I turned to Mac Boots and have not looked back. It is evident to me and to your readers that the photos tell it all. He loves his Mac Boots. I have learned to trim my heard of 7 myself and will be purchasing other hoof boots to match the needs of my two up and coming endurance prospects."
