A discussion of internal structure of the horse's foot with the lateral cartilage, blood flow, energy dissipation being discussed in detail with notes on the hoof wall and it's changes from the fetus to the adult horse. How the foot adapts to become a "good" foot or a "bad" foot depending upon the wishes of the horse owner, farrier and veterinarian.

The two day clinics meet the requirements for 20.00 hours of continuing education credit for veterinarians and 20.00 hours of continuing education credit for veterinary technicians in jurisdictions which recognize AAVSB's RACE approval program, including California.
