Trailwise Tack is our dealer of the month because of their tremendous success in their first year of business! Michelle Smith, owner, says she started Trailwise because of her love of horses and the outdoors. “I began the business,” Michelle says, “so that all fellow trail junkies like me could be outfitted with the best, most comfortable and safest tack to be found. There is a true art to riding the trail, and having the right tack is absolutely essential for trail success.” Trailwise Tack is dedicated to products perfected for performance, safety, and comfort on the trail for both casual and long-distance riders.

The business has a storefront, a web site and a mobile unit. The store is located in the spectacular foothills of Loveland, Colorado, between the historic town of Masonville and Horsetooth Reservoir. The website contains interesting stories (the latest about the rattlesnake bite her best mare received) pony pictures, horses for sale, products for the trail, art, gifts and horse bling!

Michelle tests and uses the products she sells and helps people get started in trail riding by giving lessons.
