In my opinion, these boots are awesome. After the initial adjustment and putting them on three to four times, they go on easily/quickly. I have had no rubs, Hawk's feet and legs looked awesome after the 155 miles at Color Country. I think they are well worth the little bit of tweaking of the first couple of uses. Now I am set up for the rest of the year!!!!!

Easyboot Bares after doing 50 miles, and a helpful tip for using them!

The new gaiters are working well on Chief. This photo was taken after he finished the High Desert 50 mile endurance ride a couple of weekends ago.

1. To help get the bares on the first time it helps to train the gaiter to lie back
2. One way to do this is to wet the gaiter down a day before you are going to use it.
3. Once wet, fold it back as far as you can get it and then allow it to dry that way.
4. After you have used the boots a couple of times the gaiter will become more flexible and the boots will be much easier to put on.

The City of Houston Texas Barefoot Police Squad

Your EasyCare boots are now in service everyday with our departments horses. We currently have 38 full time police horses of which 26 are barefoot. We are the second largest Mounted Unit in the United States and also using more barefoot police horses than any other unit. We are also in the design phase of a new Mounted Patrol facility the City of Houston has initiated to build for our horses, Officers, and thousands of visitors we receive a year. With the new facility and your products, we will have a showcase to better provide the services needed to the citizens of Houston Texas. We have accomplished a lot in our barefoot journey, but would not have been as successful as we have without your help and your dedicated people that you have surrounded yourself with. I personally thank you and I am sure our police horses thank you.
