It is already October, and we are starting to gear up for winter and working away on some of our new products for 2008. It is an exciting time in the world of natural hoof care and hoof boots!
The winners of our 2007 Summer Video Contest have been selected. More info on them below. Be sure to check out the winning videos. We appreciate and would like to thank everybody that took the time to make a video and submit it for the contest. Thanks!
We would also like to thank everybody that sent in photos for our 2008 EasyCare Calendar. We received a lot of great photos and are looking forward to handing them out at upcoming trade shows and events. We will also send them out with orders while supplies last.
Endurance riders are continuing to prove how well our products work in extreme conditions. I just rode a five-day ride and then another two-day endurance ride (350 miles total) in some of the rockiest terrain I've ever ridden and was unable to break or wear out a single boot or part! We will continue to upgrade and improve our products so that they will work better, longer, and harder for everyone. To date, 75 EasyCare Hoof Boot Contest riders have completed more than 16,000 miles in ride distances of 50 miles or more.

EasyCare Bargain Bin SpecialsFantastic Deal on EZ Ride Stirrups!
These powder painted, aluminum stirrups are from a third party vendor and were damaged at their facility. There are visible chips and scratches and the pads were not glued on at EasyCare. They are being sold as is with no warranty. Other than the cosmetic damage there is nothing wrong with these stirrups. They are 5 inches wide from side-to-side and 4 inches deep from toe to heel, allowing for the best possible weight distribution throughout the foot. The thick, closed-cell foam pad provides comfort for the knees and back and helps prevent overall fatigue. The new topbar deadens the shock transmitted from the horse and long hours in the saddle without excessive bounce. We wish everyone involved with horses in Australia a speedy recovery from the Equine Influenza outbreak. Due to the severity of this disease, Equitana and other equestrian events have been cancelled or postponed which has resulted in EasyCare having to reschedule our attendance at those events.

In other news, we are working on designing an EasyCare Hoof Boot Trial Program for 2008.
