EasyCare, Inc. Announces Winners in the 2007 $10,000 Hoof Boot Contest!    

                                                                                                                    
Tucson, AZ  December 6, 2007.  We are pleased to announce the list of winners in the 2007 EasyCare $10,000.00 Hoof Boot Contest which ended on November 30, 2007.  These riders have done well in every distance of ride from single day 50's and 100's to multiday rides of 250 miles or more!  They continue to show that it is possible to ride incredible distances with EasyCare hoof boots and the need for nailed on shoes is no longer necessary. 
 
The EasyCare Hoof Boot Contest was extremely successful in 2007, with a growth rate of over 400% in the number of participants.  In total, 81 riders completed more than 19,000 miles using Easyboots over bare hooves.  In addition to the top ten riders who are being awarded a total of $10,000 in cash, EasyCare will be awarding a horse blanket to each of the top twenty five riders.

Dave Rabe of Carson City, Nevada has finished first in the contest for three consecutive years now and has this to say about using boots on his barefoot horses:  The last two years I have ridden over 3500 miles using Easyboots, Epics and Bares on my barefoot horses with no problems at all.  I think that Easyboots give the horses less concussion and cuts out any chance of bruising of the soles, and there is less slipping on rocks and slick surfaces.  Much of my success in endurance rides is attributed to the Easyboot products.  The boots have helped me put 5000 miles or more on four different horses in AERC sanctioned events.  I have used them in over 40,000 total AERC miles.  I will always use Easyboots on my horses.  Thank you EasyCare for your great products!
