Comfort Pads

So many uses!Comfort Pads are still new enough that we are discovering new uses and ways for them to benefit our horses. We have found that they are excellent for helping horses that suffer from hoof conditions. The pads can be cut to size to fit in any hoof boot and when placed inside will allow the horse owner to use the boot and pad combination as a therapy boot. We are also finding that Comfort Pads are beneficial for endurance horses or any horse that is ridden. The pads can be used to help improve the fit of the boots while at the same time providing cushioning, additional protection, and frog support to the hoof. Comfort Pads are an excellent way for the horse owner to successfully transition a horse from shod to barefoot.

"Thank you we have already done a trial and video'd a very sore horse without, with frog and then with full. A marked difference with the full. However they are very handy when you want to take a horse out of the full pads, you can transition to the frog one and then nothing.
Also for horses that have suffered badly from thrush and are recovering the frog pad will work well increasing the circulation in the foot earlier. I think they are a great idea."

Comfort Pads are now available in two thicknesses! The pads are available in the original 1/2-inch thickness, as well as a new 1/4-inch thickness. This new option may be used by itself or stacked in any combination desired for your custom application and to modify boot fit.

Dome Comfort Pads
These pads have proven to be very popular with a variety of users including trail riders, endurance riders and hoofcare professionals. We recommend that you work with your veterinarian or hoof care practitioner when treating any type of hoof ailment.
Be sure to align the pads so that the concave (dome) part of the pad fits into the concave area on your horse's hoof.
