I thought that in light of recent developments it was important that I inform you…
My name is Steve Holton. I am a psychiatric nurse in England and own 4 horses. All of which are Irish Draught X Throroughbred. Four years ago my eldest mare, Karim, (now 20) became tangled in electric fence tape. The owner of the yard had not checked the fence and it must have been on the floor and Karim became tangled. She pulled her leg so much to get free she damaged her tendon in her inside right rear leg and pulled her back out. After seeing a great number of vets I was told Karim would never be able to do anything other than walk around her paddock with one vet saying “she is not worth doing anymore work on and to put her to sleep.”
Karim always gave 100% to myself my wife and daughter so this was never going to be an option. I decided 2 weeks ago that I should try Karim with your Boa Horse boot thinking more of the shock absorbing rubber soles and the fact that Karim is lame most of the time… £200.00 was spent and they arrived in the post. Karim was a dream to put them on and they fitted like a glove. Karim walked around like a space man for the first few minutes then came the shock… Karim was no longer lame! She stood upright and square she walked without even the slightest limp, my beautiful horse was sound again.
I tacked her up and we went out for a hack. I had tears rolling down my face because she was really enjoying being out and without any lameness at all. I have now taken Karim out 6 times and both my wife and daughter are enjoying riding her again.
The point of the letter is really to say thank you for such a great product, This is a genuine case that I would be more than willing to back up with vet reports. When not wearing her boots, Karim is lame but with them on is very sound. I am already recommending this product to all I know and if you have any UK shows would be more than happy to brind Karim along to give a live demonstration of the excellent performance and life changing boots that you make.
