For many reasons, shoes did not work for us, so I began to research other options. I found your boots online, and after much research and deliberation ordered a set of 4 Easyboot Epics. He loved them.
We began conditioning, and completed our first 25 mile ride in May, 2007. Throughout the summer, we continued to ride, completing four 25 mile rides, one 34 mile ride, and then we topped off our first season with a 50 mile ride. With his Easyboot Epics on he never took a misstep and had no trouble with any kind of terrain, from rocks to mud.
I am very excited about our success this year and am eagerly awaiting next year, hoping to do even greater distance. It would not have been possible for an ex-racehorse, with ouchy feet, to ride so far over such varied terrain, without his Easyboot Epics. I sing their praises to everyone who asks about them and would now never go back to shoes.
I have recently bought another ex-harness racer and have already measured him up for his first pair of boots!!!

This year, after a couple of years of preparation I began doing endurance riding. I had decided to try it with my retired ex- racehorse Standardbred, Arctic Hare. The only problem was that due to his racing career he had been used to having shoes on for his whole life, and found it very difficult and 'ouchy' to walk on anything but very soft, grassy terrain.
