The Boa Boots are fantastic for these large draft breeds. The draft horses aren't always known for great feet because of the weight that they support. Nailing shoes on these big guys sometimes adds insult to injury as the feet already crack and chip so bad that nails make this worse… (read more) |

Since my mare has recovered, I have now had a chance to use the boots and think they are excellent for dressage. Unlike many other boots on the market, the Boas are not bulky so my horse is not interfering as when she does complex lateral movements. They are so easy to get on and off and so non-restrictive to the horse's way of going - I am truly impressed... (read more)

Four years ago my eldest mare, Karim, now 20 became entangled in electric fence tape. The owner of the yard had not checked the fence and it must have been on the floor and Karim became tangled, she pulled her leg so much to get free she damaged her tendon in her inside right rear leg and pulled her back out, after seeing a great number of vets I was told Karim would never be able to do anything other than walk around her paddock with one vet saying “she is not worth doing anymore work on and to put her to sleep.”...
